Alicia Wright was born and raised in Appalachia, and studied English and creative writing at Marietta College and Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She was an assistant editor for Mid-American Review and social media manager for Rabble Lit, and her poetry has appeared in Kestrel, Pine Mountain Sand & Gravel, The Cape Rock, Sweet Tree Review, The Blackwater Review, and elsewhere. She currently lives in West Virginia, where she co-manages an adult literacy program and works as a freelance proofreader.
